Sunday 29 September 2019; 9.30am, Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve, near Fareham

A return visit to this Hampshire County Council Reserve on the south coast. We will be able to walk around the reserve and visit a number of hides. There should be a wide variety of waders and passerines to be seen, and on the adjoining seashore there should be some seabirds.  An entrance fee of £4 is payable; toilets and a café are present on site. All day meeting so lunch should be brought.

Important information relating to Sunday’s field trip to Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve, near Fareham. Please be aware that due to a sewage leak, Posbrook Lane, Triangle Lane and Meon Road near the village of Titchfield have all been closed this week. Please check on the website below or route planner to see if they are still closed, in which case access the reserve via the village of Stubbington  https://www.hants.gov.uk/thingstodo/countryparks/titchfield/visit
