Wednesday 25 July 2018; 9.30am, RSPB Winterbourne Down reserve, Newton Tony
A return visit to this 730 acre reserve east of Amesbury. Our leader will be one of the reserve wardens who, in addition to showing us around, will be able to explain many of the management techniques employed on the reserve. This is a reserve for farmland birds so we may expect to see birds like Yellow Bunting, Skylark and hopefully Stone Curlew.. At this time of the year there should also be plenty to see on the flower and butterfly front. Numbers will be limited to 20 members, so those wishing to attend should book a place Granville Pictor email This email address is being protected from spambots.
