The first WOS winter visit to this location following the extensive flood management work by the Environmental Agency, only completed in autumn 2014. A new and extensive area of salt marsh and freshwater wetlands has been created, complete with hides and walkways, and this is now managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. We should see a wide variety of waders, wildfowl and passerines. Meet in the main WWT car park at ST 252443. All day meeting so please bring lunch.
