Imber Ranges

Tuesday 28 December 2021; 9.00am, Imber Ranges.

A return visit to this military training area which has proved very popular in the past and will take place whilst the ranges are open to the public over the Christmas and New Year period. We hope to see resident downland species, flocks of winter thrushes, with a chance of Hen Harrier, Merlin and Woodcock; nothing is of course guaranteed. We will be walking off of the hard surfaced road so bring stout footwear.  Whilst this is only a morning meeting, if some members would like an additional walk close by in the afternoon, our leader is happy to lead this too.

The leader will be Andrew Bray details of his mobile number and the exact location for meeting is on the programme information sheet sent out with the Summer edition of WOS News and will also be given on the forthcoming events email which is sent at the beginning of the month in which the event is held.
