Studland Bay Nr Swanage Cancelled

This trip is cancelled. Leader Chris Hocking writes "In view of the fact that BBC South Today, BBC Weather and the Met. Office are all predicting rain for most of the day on Sunday 18^th December, along with strong winds and later on, the risk of black ice, I have decided that it is best to cancel the WOS trip to Studland, which I was due to lead on that day. 

It disappoints me greatly to do this, as I really enjoy these days, as well as the fact that I spent some considerable time carrying out the recce. However, I feel it is the correct decision given the nature of the location, lack of cover and the potential risks from ice on the journey home."
