Great Ridge Woods near Sherrington.

A late winter walk around one of the largest woodlands in southern Wiltshire which lies on the chalk downland ridge above the River Wylye. We hope to see both woodland and farmland birds in our 3-4 mile circuit which includes one medium incline. The meeting will last into early afternoon so lunch should be brought.
