A Zoom meeting ‘The Curlew in Wiltshire’ on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 at 7:30 pm by Jonny Cooper.
Jonny is well known to many WOS members. A very active member of the West Wilts Ringing Group, he is project lead for the Curlew in the Braydon Forest Project.
The Curlew is one of the UK’s highest conservation priorities. This rapidly declining species still has a foothold in Wiltshire. Jonny's talk will look at the history of the Curlew in the county, the threats that it faces and the work being undertaken to protect the species in the Braydon Forest.
