Ascension Island by Andrew Bray

Andrew Bray will be giving an illustrated talk on the Ascension Island on 24th November at 7.30 pm via Zoom.

Andrew retired from the military where he worked as a project manager for procurement. As well as a member of the WOS Executive Committee he is an active member of the Army Ornithological Society and the first recipient of the President's Medal for his promotion of the society in the fields of bird watching and conservation. 

Andrew has led scientific expeditions to Ascension Island for 12 years, the findings from which have provided a long term database for use by scientific bodies, notably finding the first Ascension Frigatebirds nesting on the main Ascension Island since 1830's.

This presentation will be via Zoom. To be able to participate in a Zoom meeting you will need to have a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone which has audio and video capability. Most laptops, tablets and smartphones have this but not all desktops.

A Zoom account is not required if you are joining Zoom Meetings as a participant. You should be able to just click on the Join Zoom Meeting.
