Old Wardour Castle

Wednesday 9 March 2016; 9.30am, Old Wardour Castle area, Nr Donhead St Andrew.

An early spring walk in a relatively under watched part of the county, where we hope to see a wide variety of woodland and farmland birds. The going is fairly easy underfoot, but can be a bit wet at this time of year, so waterproof footwear is recommended. Meet at the car park at Old Wardour Castle at ST 938262. The site is a little off the beaten track; postcode is SP3 6RR should help for those with Sat Nav! Morning Meeting but which may over run into the early afternoon, so members may wish to bring some lunch.
