Brixton Deverill

A walk of approximately five miles, with some gentle inclines, across farmland and chalk downland in this very scenic part of the county. We should see a wide variety of farmland birds, with some interesting flora and butterflies too. This will be a meeting likely to last until the early afternoon so lunch should be brought. Meet in Brixton Deverill and park in Peter's paddock at ST 865388.  Follow the WOS signs from the B3095 just south of the bridge over the R Wylye.  For satnavers, use BA12 7EJ.
