Ashley Walk and Leaden Hall

Sunday 17 October 2021; 9.30am, Ashley Walk and Leaden Hall, Nr Fordingbridge.

An autumn walk of about 4-5 miles in the north of the New Forest across heathland via Leaden Hall, an area traditionally favoured by Ring Ouzels on passage. Pitts Wood will also be visited. As well as migrants, a range of heathland and woodland species should be seen which should include Dartford Warbler and Stonechat, with the outside chance of Hawfinch.

The meeting is likely to last until mid afternoon so lunch should be brought.
