Date: 18 September 2022 09:30

Sunday 18 September 2022; 9.30am, Steart Marshes, Bridgwater Bay, Somerset.

A return visit to this location following the extensive flood management work by the Environment Agency, only completed in autumn 2014. A new and extensive area of saltmarsh and freshwater wetlands has been created, complete with hides and walkways, and this is now managed by the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust. We should at this time of the year see a wide variety of waders, wildfowl and passerines.  All day meeting so lunch should be brought.

The leader will be David Wall, details of his mobile number given on the the programme information sheet sent out with the Winter edition of WOS News are incorrect. An updated number has been given on the late March/early April monthly email and will be given again on the email which will sent at the beginning of the month of September. Details of the meeting place will also be on these emails.

Information relating to WOS field meetings in general is given on the Programme.
