Cotswold Water Park

Tuesday 2 May 2023; 9.00am, Cotswold Water Park.

An excellent time of year to visit the Water Park. A wide range of breeding birds will have set up territories and, with luck, some interesting passage migrants will also be present; It’s a good time of year for waders, Hobbies and terns. Please note earlier start time. All day meeting, so please bring lunch. Leader Kim Milsom.

Members will have received the mobile number of the leader and details of the meeting place in the Field Trips leaflet which went out with the Winter edition of WOS News. These details will also be given in the monthly email which is sent to those members who have signed up to receive emails at the beginning of the month in which the trip will be held.

The attention of members is drawn to the fact that WOS accepts no liability for damages or personal injury occurring during its activities. Please note that dogs should not be brought to meetings.

WOS seeks to encourage car sharing, so members may wish to liaise prior to meetings to try and reduce car usage. 

Field trips and indoor meetings are rarely cancelled based on weather forecasts of inclement conditions as they can be wrong. However, in the event of cancellation, a notice will be posted on the website under Newsflash.  Members may also check by telephoning the leader, see above.
